We're healthy! Anna-Kate hasn't coughed all day today, so far, and hardly coughed at all yesterday! A big fat YAY for healthiness! And she's eaten like a little piggy yesterday and today, so i have a feeling she's making up for the weight she lost. She'll be a chunker in no time!
Anna-Kate and I made a quick trip down to Kansas City this weekend, and she was awesome! She hardly fussed at all and was pleasant company all around. She's quite the world traveler at such a young age- first California (in the womb!) now Kansas City and in less than two weeks, Florida!
We've been talking with Maegan a lot about going to Florida so she's prepared and all that, since she has a tendency to really not like doing new things. Well I made the mistake last night of talking about getting her some new Disney shirts while we're down there (she has 2 that she's quickly outgrowing) and I mentioned, "Maybe we can find you a Buzz and Woody shirt." So now she keeps asking for a buzz and wooooody shirt. That's how she says it- "Wooooooody." It's so dang cute!
She loves Buzz and Woooooody, and since Friday (when she watched it with Grandma Susie) she loves the Polar Express. The calls it "Po Bas" and it took ryan an entire day to figure out what she was saying, and would have taken me a week had i not asked ryan to translate for me. So we watched "Po Bas" this morning, and she actually watched the movie from beginning to end. I've really cut back on her tv watching (trying to keep it at 1-1.5 hours/day) but we had promised her last night she could watch it today and of course she asked for it as soon as she woke up.
Tomorrow is Anna-Kate's first professional photo shoot, so of course today i see the beginnings of baby acne. Go figure! I still don't know what she's going to wear, i really should figure that out.
