Our weekend in Milwaukee

We had the chance to go to Milwaukee this weekend to see one of my best friend's, Carrie, husband (Robbie) play in the championship game for the major indoor soccer league. THEY WON! Carrie, Robbie and their daughter, Zallie, live in Baltimore so it's rare that we get to see them, so this was an extra-special weekend for us!

Having snacks in our room when we got to town. Zallie raids our Froot Loops!

The only healthy thing Anna-Kate ate all weekend!

Whose kid is this?
Photobucket

What's wrong with her? Is she ill?
Photobucket

Yeah, something is seriously wrong with her.
Photobucket

Ahh, much better. But I bet if this picture were closer you'd see some silly faces.

As many of you know, Maegan has some serious ultra-sensitive ears. I really am going to get a professional opinion because it was really bad at the soccer game, which wasn't that loud PLUS she was wearing earmuffs. She still cried a good portion of the game. Part of me wonders if it's just in her head now, but another part of me thinks it's worth asking about.

Anna-Kate and her "best fwiend" Shia-

Champions! I'm pretty sure that's little Zallie standing just outside the circle on the right.

The hotel we stayed at had this super cool kids waterpark! The girls all had a blast!

Ta-Da!!!

Maegan AND Anna-Kate both loved the big waterslide! It really surprised me!

On Sunday before we left we went to the mall for lunch and a lil shopping. Here's the face Maegan always makes at me, and to tell you the truth I'm getting a little sick of it.
Photobucket

Ahh, now that's better.
Photobucket

Okay, this ones MUCH better:

A little embarrassed at her ice cream scarfing?

And then yesterday Maegan thought up this super creation for school. We have: hot pink PRINCESS headband, new butterfly shirt from Milwaukeee (that she HAD to have,) pink belt around tshirt, khakis (I convinced her to wear these instead of pink capris which I'm sure would have looked GREAT except that it was 30 degrees yesterday) and red crocs.
The girl has STYLE. Oh, and I should have taken a pic of her hair after school because the headband had obviously been messed with and we had a hilarious mess happening.

Obviously Ryan and Molly stayed home and had a wonderful bonding weekend. Ryan got a call Saturday to show the house on Sunday, which makes me laugh. He was able to get the house clean enough to show...for the most part.

Spring is finally here

Long time no blog! It's finally spring here and we're all very happy about that. We enjoyed an awesome trip to Florida (without Ryan, poor guy) over Maegan's spring break. We had so much fun in The Villages- swimming, dancing, eating ice cream. Thanks for having us, Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Jim! And thanks to Aunt Kerin for travelling with us- we needed the help!
Here's what we've been up to lately:
Maegan had a spring program at school. They sang songs, recited poems and had an art gallery for us to browse! Maegan was so proud- "I sang all the words!" she told me several times.

Anna-Kate is potty training! I was trying to convince her to stay in diapers since she didn't seem completely ready but I'm glad she's strong-willed because now she's using the potty during the day and wakes up dry from her naps (most of the time!)

Molly had her 6 month pictures done a couple weeks ago! She's such a joy now- she loves to eat, watch her sisters play, and sit up on her own! She also has this new move when she's sitting- she kicks her legs and flaps her arms like she's trying to go somewhere. She's also cutting tooth number 2, which is so painful for her.

We had a lot of fun playing outside yesterday. Molly loves to pull grass, and try to eat it! Maegan and Anna-Kate got a pink mustang for Christmas and finally had the chance to take her out for a spin.

Anna-Kate has a gorgeous smile, but I hardly ever catch it! She will look at the camera for half a second and I guess my camera isn't quite fast enough.

Doesn't she look like a giant?!

And Molly looking a little jealous at all the fun the big girls are having:

One day a couple of weeks ago Maegan wanted some Spongebob cheez-it's and I dared to say no. So she drew this picture of herself, being angry, holding a box of Spongebob cheez-it's. :)

The library hosted the mouse from "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" last weekend! The girls loved meeting him.

Enjoying their cookies:

Here's our house in progress! We took the girls there last weekend and showed them their new rooms.
